Jo,
with a dazed and manic look in her eyes, held Julian firmly on
the bed, which she had covered in a rubber sheet.
"I
will show you," she screamed in frustration with tears filling
her eyes. Exhaustion was now clearly evident in her every gesture.
Julian
simply looked at her with a confused look on his face. He attempted
to wiggle his way from her grasp. Yet Jo was determined; this
time he was not going to get the better of her. This time she
was going to quickly finish this.
She
attempted to hold him down still as she set about her ghastly
task.
'God
I hate this,' she thought to herself. 'This is absolutely horrid.
I cannot believe that I am actually doing this... But it simply
needs to be done
Julian after all deserves it.'
Jo
wanted to vomit. But somehow she managed to fight the urge and
steadfastly continued on with her task, almost as if in a possessed
state. The odor was increasingly foul, but she unflinchingly persevered.
As
she struggled a single trail of sweat made its way down her forehead
Julian
screamed. Tears filled his eyes. He began to squirm and struggle.
He wiggled and contorted his body in every conceivable position.
Then he screamed again
Yet Jo does not stop, she doesn't
even slow down. Her mood is resolute and soon, she clearly understood
it would be soon thankfully over and she will be able to finally
rest
That is until the next time. There always a next time
With
that thought of at long last getting some sleep motivating her
onward, she at last removed the full disposable diaper from her
three month old son. Satisfied she promptly secured it in the
nursery's diaper bin. Next she set about cleansing her son
It
was at that moment that Julian's chubby baby face transformed
into an enormous cheeky grin and he began to giggle. Jo, as exhausted
as she was, was also more content than she had ever known, could
not resist in giggling along with him.
"Oh
the joys of parenthood!" she whispered out loud.
